Resonate: The Art of Presenting curriculum begins by examining the current quality of your delivery,  to determine your strengths and weaknesses, by focusing on areas for improvement. This program provides hands-on, practical tips for live and virtual presentations.

Upon this analysis, the work begins by disposing filler words, crafting compelling stories by incorporating eight effective differentiators, and incorporating an effective audience engagement toolbox. Three homework assignments are included to empower the results.

• Five sessions: session one is an individual “one-to-one” interaction to gauge current speaking expertise  

• Maximum of ten people per program

• Available: live or virtually

An in-depth, comprehensive program examining and practicing the Star Speaker Academy exclusive NorthStar Speaking Principles©. The outcome will provide mastery in all aspects of speaking, writing, editing and delivery.

NorthStar Speaking Principles©:

1. Thou shalt not clutter your speech with filler words  

2. Thou shalt enhance the power of your voice and  master vocal tonality 

3. Thou shalt master diaphragm breathing practices

4. Thou shalt incorporate expressive body language, and effective pauses and gestures  

5. Thou shalt master the art of writing compelling presentations, delivered live or virtually  

6. Thou shalt incorporate storytelling to deliver unforgettable messages

7. Thou shalt create powerful opening and closing segments

8. Thou shalt design resonating and engaging powerpoint presentations 

9. Thou shalt minimize the fear of speaking by mastering nervousness                      

10. Thou shalt never read at the podium and allow sufficient time to  prepare & practice

The media interview may be the only chance to make yourself or your organization shine. Our training unleashes your authentic expression to deliver a resilient, natural confidence with a targeted, effective message.

Most media interviews are simple and straightforward. They have the potential to make a big impact on your personal brand or company’s reputation. Big or small, every journalist or influencer has the opportunity to help or hinder who you are.

• Analyze your current media experience level. Preparation for a live TV appearance on the Today Show or MSNBC should be handled much differently than an interview with a local reporter. Phone interviews vary as well, depending on the  medium.

• Preparation is the key to your success. This curriculum focuses on how to predict questions and avoid common traps, staying on course with your key message.

• “The camera doesn’t lie.” Videotaping mock interviews is a key training tool to provide candid and immediate feedback on your delivery.   

• Each media training is customized. It’s important to establish “who, what, when, where, why and how” the media interview will evolve.
